The focus of the book is to create awareness and understanding of the problems of the elderly and the dying by examining the physiological social, psychology and economic aspects of aging, medical care of the elderly as well as the acceptance of death. Also the book treats death and dying issues as biological processes, a cultural phenomenon, a spiritual event and economic realities. The book will be beneficial, not only to the student and practicing teachers, but also to the general reader because I will help all who read it to emphasize with those faced with these two natural processes as well as help them to prepare to face the realities of their own aging, if they lived through all the environmental hazards and insults around us to day, and the reality of their own dying.
