The book focuses on the teaching and learning of Geography at the Secondary school level in Nigeria. it is aimed primarily at identifying and understanding the classroom interaction patterns, methods and skills of teaching Geography by teachers at this level of education. Also, the book, through this means, attempts to establish the proper teaching and learning of Geography with the view to addressing the poor academic performance of students during examinations and increase their success rate. the uniqueness of the book is based ont he fact that the analysis of the methods and patterns of classromm interactions enacted by teachers during Geography lessons selected from secondary schools in the six Geographical zones of Nigeria are empirical in nature.
