Summary: The Nigerian petroleum industry is highly regulated. Yet the legal framework regulating the exploration, production and transportation of crude oli and natural gas and the supply distribution, storage and marketing of petroleum products, which has hitherto been contained in diverse legislation and regulations, has not been available in a single compendium until now.
This work makes available to its users all current Laws, Regulations, Cases and Commentaries affecting the entire oil and gas industry in Nigeria . This book is a one-stop single compendium on Nigeria ’s oil and gas legal system covering upstream, mid stream and down stream petroleum and natural gas operations.
One great advantage of this loose leaf format adopted by the author in this book is that new changes or amendments in the laws or statutory instruments affecting Nigeria ’s oil and gas industry can easily be incorporated into pertinent sections of this work by the user. (NB: December 2011 - There are none planned for the foreseeable future)
