About Sh. Haroon Baqai Haroon Baqai is the Principal of Al-Huda School and Director of the Hifzh School of the Dar-us-Salaam Community in College Park, Maryland. He has an Ijazah [certification] in Hafs an Aasim - one of the seven styles of Qur'anic recitation - which he received in Saudi Arabia after studying under Sh. Muhammad Ali Haqqan.

In addition to Let’s Beautify Our Recitation, Sh. Haroon has also produced Ahl-ul-Quran Gear, an interactive audio guide to memorizing short surahs, as well as several CDs containing his Qur’an recitations.
